Leo Pettit

Leo M. Pettit, 69, formerly of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, in a care center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Leo was born Feb. 24, 1938, in Indiana, the son of Estel McCargo Pettit.

Leo retired from the US Air Force. He loved to golf and did so anytime the weather permitted. He enjoyed traveling all over the world. His last trip was to China in 2005. Leo's other hobbies included sky diving, with over 168 jumps.

Leo is survived by: his daughter, Dora Pettit, and son, Lucas Pettit, of Henderson, Nev.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
