Bonnie A. Howell
Bonnie A. Howell, 55, of Mountain Home, died Jan. 10, 2008.
A viewing was held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. A celebration of her life will be held today, Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 2:30 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, with burial at Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Hampton Inn.
Bonnie was born in Boise on July 19, 1952, to Eula and Ralph Morgan. Bonnie was raised and educated in Mountain Home, where as a child she enjoyed playing and riding her "little blue" bicycle of which she was so fond. Later, she became an avid horseback rider with her beloved horse Snowflake.
Bonnie attended Boise State University and later married her high school love, the late Timothy Berryman. Together they had a daughter, Kelli.
On Aug. 5, 1980, "Bonnie was blessed again," her family said, and married Leon Howell. "Together they had a wonderful, joyous life that included many adventures and many loving memories. Leon and Kelli were the loves of her life. Bonnie had a deep appreciation for music and a whimsical sense of humor. She loved the Lord with all her heart and had an abundance of faith that was felt by those around her. Bonnie was a true inspiration and blessing to all. She will be missed tremendously."
Bonnie is survived by: her husband, Leon Howell of Mountain Home; her daughter, Kelli Berryman of Boise; her father, Ralph Morgan of Mountain Home; her sister, Carmen, and her husband, William Fortner of Mountain Home; her stepsons, Jason Howell of Maple Valley, Wash., and Aaron Howell of Boise, a niece and two nephews and "her favorite little dog, Moxie."
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eula Morgan.
