Raiders drub Notus in conference boys basketball
Rimrock used good second quarter and fourth quarter efforts to down Notus Pirates, 56-35, in conference boys basketball at Rimrock on December 18.
Rimrock led the Pirates 8-6 after a quarter, and pushed their lead to -17 at the half. The Raiders led 33-28 heading into the fourth quarter, and exploded for 23 points for the 56-35 win.
Chris Hipwell led Rimrock in scoring with 13 points. Sam Richardson had nine points and 14 rebounds. Travis Hipwell, Alan Draper and Cole Merrick each added eight points. Travis Hipwell had 12 rebounds. Antonio Garcia had six points, and T.J. Snyder, four.
The win improved the Raiders to 5-4 overall, and 1-1 in conference lay.
Rimrock is off for the Christmas holidays, returning to action on January 8 at home against Liberty Charter.
