Earl Terry
Earl D. Terry, 68, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at a local hospital.
Graveside Services were held following a viewing on Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Earl was born on Jan. 2, 1939, in Wichita, Kan., to Glen and Eunice Terry. He graduated from Chester High School in northern California.
He married Mary Temple on Jan. 24, 1958, and he joined the Air Force soon after.
Earl retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service as a Master Sergeant.
Earl and Mary lived in Westwood, Calif., until 2005. They then moved to Mountain Home.
Earl was an excellent electrician and handyman, able to design and build whatever he wanted, his family said, adding that "he was a loving husband and father."
Earl is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Mary Terry of Mountain Home; his son, Tim, and his wife, Anna Terry, of Boise; his son, Glen, and his wife, Laura Terry, of Westwood, Calif.; his son, Norman, and his wife, Twila Terry, of Kissimee, Fla.; his daughter, Vivian, and her husband, Ken Wardwell, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his sister, Barbara Hermo of Chester, Calif.; his sister Mary Webster of Cedar City, Utah; his brother, Lawrence Terry of Folsom, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
