Riley Smith
Riley Ann Smith, 4-month-old daughter of Jamie Olson and Chris Smith of Nampa, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at a Boise hospital.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Conner Family Chapel Home, 2685 Caldwell Blvd., in Nampa, under the direction of the Conner Family Funeral Chapel.
"Riley Ann came to us June 30, 2007 and was a fighter from the day she was born," her family said. "Her big smile and bright blue eyes lighted our hearts. We will always have Riley in our prayers and remember her in the smiles and giggles of her twin sister, Hailey."
Riley is survived by: her mother, Jamie L. Olson, and her father, Christopher Smith, both of Nampa; her twin sister, Hailey; her sisters Corie and Katie; her brother, Tyler; her maternal grandparents, Diana Olson of Mountain Home and Lyle Olson of Boise; paternal grandparents Pat and Ken Smith of Nampa; great-grandmother Sherin Olson of Mountain Home; great-grandparents Dale and Deloras Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Bernard Murphy, great-grandmother Bettie Ruth Murphy, great-grandparents Floyd and Barbara Dutcher and her great-grandfather, Larry Olson whom she was laid to rest next to at Mountain View Cemetery.
