Jolita Du
Jolita Romero Du, 55 ,of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Boise hospital following a battle with heart disease.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Relatives and friends are welcome at the daughter's house, Juliery Dela Cruz, 1390 Rosewood St., on Friday, Oct. 19, through Tuesday, Oct. 23, and then at the church from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service.
Jolita was born July 22, 1952, in the town of Aringay, provice of La Union, Philippines, to the late Leon and Cecilia Dulay Romero.
She attended Aringay Elementary School and graduated from DMSU in 1969. Jolita went to the University of Baguio to pursue her dream to be an accountant.
On March 21, 1981, she was united in marriage to Reynaldo Du in Olongapo City, Philippines.
In November of 2005, she came and lived in the United States with four of her daughters and her husband.
Her family described her as "a loving mother of six daughters and a caring wife."
Jolita is survived by: her husband, Reynaldo Du; her daughter, Joanne Marie, and her husband, John Philip Bueno; her daughter,Thea Lynn, and her husband, King Leonard Fransisco; her daughter, Rhelita Durher; her daughter, Juliery, and her husband, Anthony Dela Cruz; her daughter, Maria Corazon Du; her daughter, Cecille Ann Du; five grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
