Steven Humpherys, 31
Steven M. Humpherys, 31, formerly of Mountain Home, died at his home in Dayton, Ore.
Services were held Saturday, Sept. 15, at Macy's Funeral Home in McMinnville, Ore., with Robert Nassar of the Jehovah's Witness Church presiding. Internment was at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born June 26, 1976 in McMinnville, Ore.
He moved to Mountain Home in 1979 where he attended grade school. He graduated from Dayton High School in 1994.
He worked for Cart Away Concrete as supervisor and assembly. He was dedicated to his work and thought of his fellow co-workers as special friends, his family said.
He enjoyed dirt biking, computer building and maximizing the sound systems in his house and car. His family noted that he was devoted to his family and friends, and loved caring for animals, especially his cat, "Buddy."
Steven was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeff and Connie Humpherys of Dayton, Ore.; brother Jacob of Dayton and sister Laurie of Independence, Ore.; grandparents Charlene Humphreys of Mountain Home and Verl Humphreys of Boise, Sue Crawley of Dayton, Ore., and Carol O' Brian of Portland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew, uncle David L. Humphreys, and grandfather Kent Crawley.
