Lee Norris, 69
Lee Norris, 69, died Tuesday, May 28, in Prairie, of natural causes.
Services will be held at Prairie Cemetery on Saturday, June 23, at 11 a.m.
Lee was born in Fort Collins, Colo., June 24, 1947, to Donald W. Norris and Mary Alice Reed. The family soon moved to the Treasure Valley, where he graduated from Nampa Senior High School.
Lee found his life's passion in sheet metal work, where he spent his career working for various companies in the valley, retiring from Woody's Sheet Metal in Boise.
Lee married Sheryl Lakey, later divorcing and then marrying Mary Sutton.
Lee always enjoyed hunting adventures with his family and friends, his family said, as well as many years of fun at Lake Owyhee, where he loved to go boating and fishing. "Lee cherished the good times he shared with his friends."
Lee moved to Prairie after he retired and made many friends and has "truly enjoyed the years he has spent out in the country where his heart has always been." his family said. "He spent the majority of his time of retirement making thoughtful gifts for his loved ones."
Lee was proceeded in death by his mother, Mary A. Mullin, and his stepfather, Edward J. Mullin.
He is survived by: his father, Donald Norris, and his stepmother, Dale Norris; daughters, Lori K. Mccaughey and her husband, Brenden, Angel Griffiths and her husband, Ethan, and Misty Sutton and her husband, D.J Williams; a son, Jeremy Powers; and three granddaughters.
