Alexis Rose Woodruff, 10
Alexis Rose Woodruff, 10, of Mountain Home, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in an automobile accident, along with her mother, brother and uncle, near Mountain Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, at the Mountain Home Idaho Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Alexis was born on Dec. 9, 1996, in Mountain Home, to Angelo Orlando Roberts and Darci Dee Rodrigues (Woodruff).
She was currently enrolled at North Elementary with plans to resume her homeschool education next school year, to her mother's delight. She loved to play at the park, cooking, and being with her friends.
"We are going to miss this beautiful girl," her family said.
Alexis is survived by: her father, Angelo Orlando Roberts of Meridian; her step-father, Dion Scott Woodruff of Mountain Home; her sister, Thea LeFevre and her brother, A.J. Woodruff, both of Mountain Home; her grandfather, George Rodrigues, Sr., of Mountain Home; step-grandparents Gary and Kathy Woodruff and Ken and Sheryl Carpenter, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, JaQuita Rodrigues, and her paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been set up at Idaho Independent Bank -- Rodrigues/Woodruff Memorial Fund, 310 American Legion Blvd, Mountain Home, ID 83647.
