Frances Burton, 82

Frances Burton, 82, of Mountain Home, died April 17, 2007, in Mountain Home.

No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Burton was born Oct. 8, 1924, in Elliott, Iowa.

She married Robert Burton in 1942 and dedicated her life to following "her soldier" around the world until he preceded her in death in 1990.

The couple had four children: Diane, Dixie (Jim), Dennis (Ida), and Donald (Rita), as well as eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
