Gigi Medler, 68

Ghislaine (Gigi) Blanche Medler, 68, died at her home in Mountain Home on Nov. 26, 2006.

Gigi was born March 27, 1938, in Ham, France, the daughter of Roger and Solange Sene'. She met the "true love of her life," Donald Medler, in Mountain Home, and they were married on July 28, 1980.

"She spent ten wonderful years with Don before he passed away in 1990," her family said. "She made many friends in Mountain Home attending Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Mountain Home Senior Center and the local Bingo games. Everyone will miss her."

She has three children from a previous marriage, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Gigi is survived by: her children: Catherine and her husband, Walter Kelley, of Anchorage, Alaska, Theresa Ochotorena, of Aberdeen, S.D., and Patrick and his wife, Jessica Ochotorena, of El Paso, Texas; a sister, Lucette, of France, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Her mother, father and husband Donald preceded her in death.

Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. She will be interned with her late husband, Don, at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Ariz., at a later date.
