Muril Hillman, 72
Muril Robert Hillman, 72, of Kingman, Ariz., formerly of Mountain Home, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006.
A celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at his residence.
Muril was born Sept. 14, 1934, in Los Angeles, Calif., the son of Muril and Evelyn Hillman. He was raised in Yucca, Ariz., and as a young man he worked on area ranches as a cowboy.
After retiring in 1997 from Civil Service at Mountain Home AFB, he and his wife moved to Kingman where he was able to continue working on area ranches. One of his biggest joys later in life was riding his horse Stormy with his many riding companions, his family said.
Survivors include: his wife of over 30 years, Charlotte M. Hillman; daughters Roberta Hillman and Illa LeFan, all of Kingman; sons Leonard Hillman of Mountain Home, and Joshua Hillman of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother Burt Hillman of California; sister Betty Frazier of Phoenix, Ariz., eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Velma and Mary; and a daughter, Lavina.
