Jimmy Vines, 60
Jimmy Allen Vines, 60, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, Oct. 30, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
Jimmy was born Nov. 23, 1945, in Birmingham, Ala., to R.D. And Cecil Vines. He was raised in Pumkin Center and graduated from high school in Dora, Ala.
After high school he entered the United States Air Force and traveled throughout the world on different assignments. After serving 20 years in the Air Force he retired in Mountain Home.
Jimmy married Charlie Ann Phillips on June 2, 1964, and together they had two sons, Keith and Michael.
Jimmy opened JB's Auto Body in Mountain Home in 1979, and had retired from that business this year.
Jimmy enjoyed snowmobiling, his cabin at Paradise, and his best time was spent on his four-wheeler. He loved his children and grandchildren, and drinking coffee with the boys, his family said.
Jimmy is survived by: his wife, Charlie Ann; his sons, Keith Vines, and Michael and his wife, Felicia Vines, and six grandchildren, all of Mountain Home, and a brother, Ronnie Vines of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, RD and Cecil Vines, and a brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pine-Featherville Ambulance, 16 E. Trish Dr., Pine, ID 83647.
