Eleanor Wiley, 85

Eleanor L. Wiley, 85, of Mountain Home, died at her home on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006.

Graveside Services were held on Monday, Oct. 16, at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Eleanor was born on March 19, 1921, in Duluth, Minn., to Everet and Edith Frederickson. She was raised in the Portland, Ore., area.

In 1942, she married Gordon Wiley and together they had three children and shared 57 years together until his death in 1999.

Eleanor had been a member of the VFW Auxilary, the Elkettes, the Sagebrush Shufflers and she was a Toastmistress. She enjoyed travel, especially to Jackpot, sewing, card games and laughing.

Eleanor is survived by: sons Charles, and his wife, Terri Wiley, of Elizabeth, Colo., and Jon and his wife, Linda Wiley, of Moscow, Penn.; a daughter, Eleanor, and her husband, Steve Frey, of Eagle River, Alaska, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, and her brother.
