Cecilia Ducharme, 93
Cecilia R. Ducharme, 93, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at a local care center.
Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Oct. 7, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial was held at St. Patricks Cemetery III, in Harrisville, R.I., on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Cecilia was born on June 21, 1913, the daughter of John and Mary Nadolski in Massachusetts. She was schooled in Massachusetts and after attending high school she entered beauty school and became a hair dresser.
Cecilia married Noe "Louie" Ducharme in November 1938 in Massachusetts. They made they home in Mapleville, R.I. While in Rhode Island she was a member of Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church.
She worked a short time at a textile mill and later for Tupperware. She retired in 1976.
In 2005 she moved to Mountain Home.
Cecelia enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles.
Cecilia is survived by: her son, Tom, and his wife, Pat Ducharme, of Mountain Home; her daughter, Norma Faubert (Russell Wilcox) of Cumberland, R.I.; a brother, Bruno, and his wife, Sally Nadolski, of North Wilbraham, Mass.; two sisters, Clara Nadolski of San Diego, Calif., and Alice and her husband, Al Kozub, of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie, three brothers and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a favorite charity of the donors choice.
