'Toad' Bushar, 55
Stephen "Toad" D. Bushar, 55, of Mountain Home, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at a local hospital.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Stephen was born Aug. 1, 1951, the son of Frank and Barbara Bushar, at Chanute Air Force Base, in Champaign, Ill. He was raised and schooled in Illinois.
After graduating from high school he joined the Marine Corps.
Stephen also worked various jobs, including in grain mills, prior to moving to Mountain Home in the mid 1970s.
Stephen married Teresa Said in 1980 and at one time worked as a Fuel Island Supervisor at the Stage Stop.
Stephen loved working with leather and fishing.
Stephen is survived by: his father, Frank Bushar of San Bernardino, Calif.; two brothers, Jeff and Danny Bushar, both of San Bernardino, Calif.; his former wife and friend, Teresa Bushar of Mountain Home; a son, Joshua and his wife, Kim Bernier, of Ammon, Idaho; a son, Charlie, and his wife, Dorain Bernier, of Mountain Home, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara.
