Eliza Martin, 10

Nancy ElizaJane Martin, 10, of Grand View, died July 11, 2006.

A memorial service was held Monday, July 17, 2006, at the Rimrock Jr./Sr. High School auditorium. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Eliza was born July 23, 1995, the daughter of Allen "Buffalo" and Debbi Martin in Grand View.

She attended Grand View Elementary School, where she would have been in the sixth grade this fall. She was a good student, her family noted, who enjoyed going to the library and reading "lots of books." She also loved to ride her horse, "Buddy."

"Eliza's greatest love was for her parents, her family, her good friend Bethany, and her schoolmates," her family said. "She will be missed by all."

Eliza is survived by: her parents, Allen and Debbie Martin; two brothers, Leigh and Allen; her grandparents Verla and Paul Spang, all of Grand View; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mike and Lee Martin, and her grandfather, Clifford Robison.
