Vickie Lloyd, 68
Sylvia Ann "Vickie" Lloyd, 68, of Mountain Home, died Sunday, June 18, 2006.
Memorial services were held Friday, June 23, at the First Southern Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Brodie presided. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Sylvia Ann Whitelock Lloyd was born on April 11, 1938, in London, England. She was the daughter of Reginald Albert and Edith Emily Lewis Whitelock, both of London. Vickie grew and went to school in London.
She moved to the United States in 1960 and in 1970,moved Mountain Home. She loved Idaho and all the people she ever met, her family noted, adding, "Vickie loved children, animals and her Lord's creation and was a prolific artist and poet."
She was a faithful member of the First Southern Baptist Church and a key supporter of the church for many years.
She is survived by: her sister, Tina Buick of England; a brother, Kevin Whitelock of England; a daughter, Stephanie McCallister of Missouri; and sons Anthony Hoover of Illinois and Daryl Wayne Hoover of Mountain Home; her aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews of Australia and England, plus four grandchildren, one great-grandson and many friends.
