Ingrid Kuecker, 70
Ingrid J.W. Kuecker, 70, died April 19, 2006, at her home in Mountain Home.
A Memorial Service was held Monday, April 24, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Inurnment followed at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Ingrid J.W. Geradin Kuecker was born to Bertha and William Geradin on Sept. 8, 1935, in Kiel, Germany, where she was raised.
She met George Kuecker while he was stationed at Bitburg, Germany. Ingrid and George were married by German law on Feb. 16, 1957, and married a second time by American law on Feb. 17, 1957.
Ingrid and George began their family with Esther and Mike in Bitburg, Germany. In 1959 they were stationed in Lake Charles, La., which was Ingrid's first experience in America. Ingrid gave birth to their daughter, Tammy, while stationed at Lake Charles.
Ingrid and George were stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base in 1963. Arthur and Heidi were born while the family was living in Mountain Home.
In 1967, Ingrid, George and the family were stationed at Hooper, Neb.
The family moved to Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1971, and returned to Mountain Home Air Force Base in 1974.
Ingrid worked at Mountain Home Air Force Base from 1975 through 1982.
Ingrid began working at Elmore Medical Center in 1982 and retired in 1995.
Ingrid and George built a home in Pine in 1997 and resided there until George's death in 2002. At that time, Ingrid moved back to Mountain Home to be closer to family.
Ingrid is survived by: a daughter, Esther Campos of Utah; a son, Arthur Kuecker of Mountain Home; a daughter, Heidi, and her husband, Fred Miller, of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, both parents, a daughter, Tammy, a son Mike, and a brother, Harry.
