Annabel Jones, 77
Annabel L. Jones, 77, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at her home.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Feb. 12, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Jones was born June 4, 1928, in French Camp, Calif., to Harvey and Roseanna Isabelle Hiles. She was the youngest of 10 children.
She was schooled in Susanville, Calif., and lived most of her life in Redding, Calif.
She met and married Earl Lewis in 1945. They were married 16 years, later divorcing. She then married Carol Jones in 1959 and in 1995 she moved to Mountain Home to live closer to her daughter, Becky.
Jones worked as a waitress most of her life and enjoyed her work meeting interesting people, her family noted, added that she also enjoyed crafts and sewing.
She is survived by: four daughters, Becky and her husband, James Fatzinger, of Mountain Home, Kathie and her husband, Joe Johannes, of Oregon, Shirley and her husband, Jerry McBride, of California, and Kathy and her husband, Don Norris, of California; three sons, Fred Lewis of California, Carol and his wife, Venesa Jones, of California, and Johnnie and his wife, Anita Jones, of California; a sister, Becky Bowen, of California; a brother, Arthur Hiles of Oregon; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Carol Jones, one son, four brothers and five sisters.
