Lee Dachlet, 69
LeRoy "Lee" Joseph Dachlet, 69, of Mountain Home, died Dec. 30, 2005, in a Boise hospital.
A private service already has been held. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Lee was born March 15, 1936, the son of Joseph and Ester Dachlet. He was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisc., and attended Catholic grade school and high school. He excelled in football and joined the United States Air Force in September of 1956.
He married Virginia Wolf in 1960. They had three children and later divorced.
Lee was dedicated to his military career and after receiving many honors and commendations he retired in 1984 after 29 years of service as a Chief Master Sergeant.
He moved to Illinois where he met his long-time friend and companion Kathy Peter. Together they enjoyed many travels and interests. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cruising the country in his motor home.
Lee is survived by: two daughters, Jayne, and her husband, Ron Overton, of Boise, and Karen and her husband, Claude Bermensolo, of Mountain Home, and his love, Kathy Peter, of Illinois; his sister, MaryAnn Krautkramer of Green Bay, Wisc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and his son, Jason.
