Anne Watson, 77

Anne B. Watson, 77, of Mountain Home, died Nov. 9, 2005, at a Aaren Brooke Care Center in Mountain Home.

Mass was held Monday, Nov.14, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

She was born May 13, 1928, in Chicago, Ill.

Anne was active in the Knights of Columbus with her late husband, as well as Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. She was one of the original volunteers who helped open and worked at the Mountain Home Visitor Center and had been a member of the Mountain Home Senior Center.

She is survived by: daughters, Ann C. and her husband, Michael L. Bernas, of Alaska, and Basie Jane and her husband, Russell Kirby; a step-daughter, Ruth Christenson of Massachusetts; one grandson and a grand-daughter, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Roy "Doc" Watson, both her parents and three sisters.
