Tigers ready to face Kuna
After a much needed week off, the Mountain Home Tigers return to SIC 4A conference football action Friday night at Kuna.
Mountain Home Tiger head football coach Brian Floyd hopes to have Tyson Sessions back this week from a dislocated elbow injury that he suffered in the Emmett game.
Floyd also hopes to have Chris Knudson back, and wide receiver Josh Reynolds should be back at 100 percent.
Floyd also hopes to have his offensive line performing well, after losing center Brett Grodi to a broken ankle a couple days before the Post Falls game.
"We'll have two weeks to get our line together, and I think we can do that."
Coach Floyd hopes his Tigers can put together a win Friday night at Kuna against the Kavemen.
"I'm not quite sure if they've had injuries or things like that, but looking at them on film, they have a couple of fast guys. They've had a lot of breakdowns on offense and defense, so we're hoping to take advantage of their miscues."
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday night at Kuna, with the game aired live over KMHI AM 1240.
The Tigers close out their football season at home on Oct. 28 against Caldwell.
