Dorothy K. Myers , 91
Dorothy K. Myers, 91, of Mesquite, Nev., formerly of Mountain Home, died, Aug. 29, 2005.
Services will be private. Her ashes will be scattered at Deadwood Reservoir.
She was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Boise, and moved to Boulder City, Nev., in 1932.
She traveled the world with her husband, Ernest Meyers, following his construction career, which included building Dwvorshak Dam near Kooskia.
She came to Mountain Home in 1997 to be near her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, moving to Mesquite in 2000.
She was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing blackjack, and was devoted to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Myers and her son, Edward Myers.
She is survived by: her daughter, MaryLee Wells and her longtime companion, Louie Dutton, both of Mesquite; four grandchildren, including Susan Richelieu of Mountain Home, and seven great-grandchildren.
