Roberta Osborn, 84
Roberta I. Osborn, 84, of Grand View, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, in Boise, of natural causes.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Grand View Senior Center in Grand View.
Roberta and he husband, Bill, were married Nov. 29, 1947, in Reno, Nev.
Roberta spent her early life in California where, among other things, she worked as a welder in the shipyard in Sausalito, Calif., during World War II.
After they retired from the Air Force, Roberta and Bill owned and operated the Y-Bar and Café in Grand View.
Roberta was a member of the First Grand View City Council.
Roberta is survived by: her children, Tangie (and Kent) Frisch of Melba, Rick (and Deb) Osborn of Ames, Iowa, Vangie Osborn of Boise, Derrell Osborn of Elko, Nev., and Debra Thomas of Kingman, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a special neighbor, Brad Haderly, and a brother, James Hagerman of Merced, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Osborn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand View Ambulance.
