Katherine Bergeron, 46

Katherine Elizabeth Sicard Bergeron, 46, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005. at a Boise hospital.

At her request no services will be held.

Katherine was born Nov. 18, 1958, to Ralph and Elizabeth (Conway) Young in Holyoke, Mass. She was raised and educated in Massachusetts.

Kathy was employed as a CNA while living in Massachusetts. In 2000 Kathy moved to Mountain Home to be closer to her family.

"Kathy was a loving, compassionate, and a thoughtful person who loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. They seem to have that special bond that brought a smile to her face," her family said.

She enjoyed reading and collecting lighthouses.

She is survived by: her five children; sons Eric Sicard and his wife, Suzanne, of New York; William Derome of Mountain Home, and Christopher Sicard of New York; daughters Angela Hoffstetter and her husband, Luke, of Mountain Home, and Jessica Brockway and her husband, Clayton, of New York; father Ralph Young and his wife, Carlene, and mother Elizabeth Young, all of Mountain Home; brothers Patrick and his wife, Lana, and Jack and Kenny Young, all of Mountain Home, and Ralph Young and his wife, Pat, of Massachusetts; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bergeron, and a daughter, Jennifer Sicard.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, of Mountain Home.
