Iona Hiddleston, 86
Iona D. Hiddleston, 86, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at Elmore Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday April 30, at the Christian and Baptist Church in Mountain Home. Arrangements were handled by Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.
She was born July 8, 1918, at Beggs, Okla., to Hazel and Isaac Martin. She attended school and graduated from Beggs High School.
On Dec. 29, 1936, she married C.L. "Doc" Hiddleston. They made their home in Oklahoma and Kansas before moving to Idaho. They first lived in Murtaugh, then Rupert, and ended up in Mountain Home.
Iona loved to bowl, garden and spend time with her her grandsons. In later years she enjoyed spending time in Jackpot.
She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of Nile and Lady Shiners.
She is survived by: her son, Ron and his wife, Marvelene; two grandsons, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doc Hiddleston, and a grandson, Mike Hiddleston.
