Marie Wallace, 94
Marie B. Wallace, 94, of Mountain Home, died Monday, April 4, 2005, in Bountiful, Utah.
She will be buried, along with the ashes of her late husband, David, in a joint memorial service on Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at MountainView Cemetery. Both sets of ashes will be inurned together.
A celebration of their lives will be held at the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home after the graveside service.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home.
Marie was born Jan. 15, 1911.
On Sept. 19, 1950, in Boise, she married David E. Wallace. They ranched together at Smith's Prairie, and if they weren't ranching, both where playing for the Prairie dances, David on the guitar and Marie on the accordion as they both enjoyed playing music for friends and family.
They decided to moveto Mountain Home where Marie worked at Mountain Home Air Force Base hospital as an LPN, before retiring "and became a wife of leisure." David enjoyed talking on his CB radio. "Marie and David had lots of love from their extended families," her family said.
She is survived by: a daughter, Rena M. House her husband, Jerry, from Mountain Home; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and two sons, David A. Wallace and John Aarego.
