Earl Hale, 73
Earl Hale, 73, of Mountain Home, died March 23, 2005, at a Boise hospital.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 1555 American Legion Blvd, Mountain Home.
Burial will follow with military honors at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.
Earl was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Gary, Ind., to Olen and Theresa Archie. He was schooled in Gary.
After graduating in 1951 he joined the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force Earl served in the Korean War and later served in France, England, and numerous stateside locations. Earl retired at Mountain Home Air Force Base in 1971 after serving in the military for 20 years. Earl worked for the City of Mountain Home for 14 years.
In 1958 Earl married Clarabess Mason in San Francisco, Calif. Clara died in 1993. Earl later married Diane Byerly in 1999.
Earl loved being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his many friends and family.
Earl is survived by: his wife, Diane, of Mountain Home; sons Mark Hale and his wife, Karen, of Mountain Home, Cameron Hale and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Mountain Home, and Sean Hale of Seattle, Wash.; daughters Theresa Hannon of Mountain Home and Lise McMullen of Denver, Colo.; stepsons Robert Byerly and his wife, Deborah, of Hammett, Ed Byerly and his wife, Faith, of Portland, Ore., and James Byerly of Mountain Home, 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Earl was preceded in death by both parents, his first wife, Clara, one brother, and one sister.
