Donna Hall, 76
Donna Jean Hall, 76, of Mountain Home, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain Home.
A gathering for family and friends will be held following the service at the family home, 520 N. 5th East St., in Mountain Home.
Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.
Donna was born, Feb. 26, 1928, in Fairbury, Neb., to Fred and Freeda Dimond Vrooman.
In 1946 Donna moved to Mountain Home to be with her mother.
Donna owned and operated Kathy's Bar for nine years before moving on to other things, including "18 years of diligent service" to the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home.
"Her three joys in life were her family, friends and her pets," her family said, adding, "Above all Donna loved laughter and a good joke, in which she provided the jokes and we provided the laughter. The world was her audience and she played to it daily. She spent her life fishing, working, laughing and raising her five children.
Donna is survived by: Leslie Williams and his children, Deandra and Lonnie, Leon Diaz and his wife, April, his children, Nathen, Ashley and Kitty, Lorraine and her husband, John McKinney, and their child, Carmen, Lennie Diaz and his wife, Holly, Laura and her husband Billy Norwood; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Everett.
