Sarah Grafton, 72

Sarah A. Grafton, 72, of Mountain Home, died Jan. 19, 2005, at her residence.

Graveside services were held Tuesday Jan. 25, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.

Sarah was born on March 12, 1932, in Camden, N.J., to Anna and Michael Mazzilli.

In 1953 she married Jack F. Grafton, who was serving in the United States Air Force. Together they traveled the world raising five children before settling in Mountain Home in August of 1971.

Sarah was a 28-year employee of the Army-Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). She retired in March 2001 to devote her time to her family, friends, cooking, gardening and her "Breakfast Club."

Her family noted that she was a "beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend."

Sarah is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann and her husband, Mike Jones, of Sparks, Nev.; John Grafton and his wife, Pam, of Navarre, Fla., Nancy Grafton of Winston-Salem, N.C. Jonathan Grafton of Mountain Home. and Toni and her husband, David Brescia, of Colorado Springs, Colo., as well as ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Sarah was proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jack, as well as her mother, Anna.
