Billy Hawkins, 60
Billy R. Hawkins, 60, of Mountain Home, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at home with his wife, Sheila, by his side.
At his request no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.
Billy was born Aug. 18, 1944, in Gray, Ga., the son of Edmond V. and Pauline Hawkins.
Billy received his education in Georgia.
He joined the United States Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sargent after 30 years.
Billy loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed nature with his best friend, Tis, his yellow lab, his family noted.
Billy is survived by: his wife, Sheila, of Mountain Home; five daughters, Suzanne Lisull-Johnson, of Sparks, Nev., Teresa Kemple, of Las Vegas, Nev., Denice Hawkins,of Spokane, Wash., Mel Bradley, of North Augusta, S.C., and Char Thomlinson of Flagstaff, Ariz.; two brothers, Jerry and Joe Hawkins, both of Georgia; and 8 grandchildren.
His father and one sister preceded him in death.
The family request memorials be made in his name to the Mountain State Tumor Institute for cancer research, 190 E. Bannock, Boise, ID 83712.
