Walter Villeneuve, 37
Walter Eugean Villeneuve, 37, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at a Boise hospital.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel. Services will conclude at the chapel.
Walter was born Jan. 9, 1967, in Wiesbaden, Germany, to Gean and Dorothy Villeneuve. The family was transferred to Dyess Air Force Base in Texas and later to Ontario, Calif. Upon Walter's father's retirement from the Air Force the family moved to Mountain Home in 1978 where Walter finished his early education and graduated from Mountain Home high School in 1985.
In 1987 Walter received a diploma from Phoenix Institute of Technology upon completion of training in Automotive Technology Diagnostic and Air conditioning Technician in Arizona.
He enjoyed the time he worked on a farm south of Mountain Home and often talked about, his family noted. After his health began to fail he did sandblasting and wanted to make that his business.
Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing as well as camping. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working on car projects with his family.
Walter is survived by: two sons, James and David of Mountain Home; two brothers, Douglas H. Villeneuve of Payette, and Kenneth L. Villeneuve of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Donna L. Kovaleski of Boise; and his parents, Gean and Dorothy of Mountain Home.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald William and William Lee, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
