Judy Parker, 55
Judith "Judy" Ann Parker, 55, of Mountain Home, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.
Her family said that she was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother.
She was born April 11, 1949, in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of W.C. and Donna Lee (Smead) Stewart. The family later moved to California where she completed school and met and married her husband, Monte Parker. The couple later had two daughters and moved to Mountain Home.
"She loved taking care of everyone and always was there when her family needed her," her family said. "Her devotion to her family was amazing. Her grandchildren were the lights in her eye and she was so very proud of all of them. To her, they all were angels sent from heaven to bless her life.
"She touched all who knew her with her courage, determination, and her undying love for her family. Some of the happiest moments of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and driving truck with her husband," the family said.
Judy is survived by: her husband of 40 years, Monte Parker, of Mountain Home; daughters Tamra Downen and her husband, Danny, of Mountain Home, and Michelle Morrison and her husband, Travis, of Comanche, Texas; seven grandchildren; her mother and father, W.C. and Donna Stewart of Mountain Home, and two brothers, Ronald Stewart of Mountain Home and Frederick Stewart of Waco, Texas.
