Maria DeLaney, 45
Maria C. DeLaney, 45, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, in an automobile accident.
Funeral mass was held Saturday, Oct. 2, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home. Services were under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
Maria was born Nov. 7, 1958, in the Philippines, the daughter of Rogelio and Rustica (Tiglao) Carlos.
She graduated from Holy Angel College in the Philippines with an Accounting Degree.
Maria married Terry Joe DeLaney on April 10, 1983, in Tacoma, Wash. Terry is retired Air Force and they lived in the Philippines, Texas, Guam, California, Turkey and Japan.
Maria worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) for 15 years, working her way to district manager while in Tokyo.
Maria's only hobby was helping to raise her grandchildren, her family said.
Maria is survived by: her husband, Terry J. DeLaney; a daughter, Sharlyn; a son, Jerome; three grandsons, one granddaughter, and numerous brothers and sisters living in the U.S. and the Philippines.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rogelio Carlos.
