Gary Kraus, 58

Gary L. Kraus, 58, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, at a local hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 30, at the Knight Community Church in Grand View. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Gary was born June 24, 1946, in Boise to Virgil and Geraldine (Wegman) Kraus. The family moved to Mountain Home in 1947 and he lived the rest of his life in his home town. Gary attended school in Mountain Home and graduated from Mountain Home High School.

He worked for his father at Elmore Equipment Company and became owner/operator upon his father's death. Gary had recently retired and had become a caretaker for his mother.

He is survived by: his mother, Geraldine (Geri) Kraus of Mountain Home; a sister, Cheri Arosteguy of Dublin, Calif., and his nieces, uncles and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his father and several uncles and aunts.
