Bill Nebeker, 70
Bill Nebeker, 70, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center following a sudden stroke.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 9, at the Mountain Home LDS Stake Center, under the direction of Demaray Funeral Home of Gooding. Burial was in Amman, Idaho.
Nebeker was born April 13, 1944, in Cortez, Colo. He graduated from high school in Monticello, Utah, and attended college in Utah.
He worked as an insurance salesman for many years.
He married Evelyn Jeane Gardner on Dec. 17, 1968, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She died in 1980. The couple had three children, Jan, Jackie and Paul, as well as eight grandchildren.
"Bill was a devoted father and grandfather," his family said. "He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He could be found enjoying animals and wildlife of all kinds.
"Bill was loved by many and will be greatly missed."
Nebeker was a high priest in the Mountain Home LDS Ward and served diligently until his death.
