Pauline Woodruff, 77
Pauline Woodruff, 77, died May 26, 2004, at the Mountain Home long-term care unit, following a lengthy illness.
Vigil services will be conducted today, Wednesday, June 2, at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, in Mountain Home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel.
Pauline was born on April 3, 1927, to William "Boots" and Amanda McGrath in Mountain Home. She was raised in Mountain Home and was the youngest of 13 children.
She married Ralph DeGroff in 1945 and two children were born of that union. Ralph died in 1956.
She later met and married Raymond Woodruff on Dec. 11, 1957, of which two more children was added to the family.
Pauline was a homemaker, and had many hobbies -- painting, crocheting, sewing, and bingo, but her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren "whom she loved very much," her family said. " She will be greatly missed."
Pauline is survived by: her four children, Gerald (Donna) DeGroff of Pocatello, Paula Hart of Vashon Island, Wash., Robert (Lisa) Woodruff of Mountain Home, and Ronald Woodruff of Mountain Home, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Woodruff, ten brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter and one grandson.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Altar Society, 115 N. 4th East St., Mountain Home, Idaho 83647.
