Kathryne Quick, 58

Kathryne M. Quick, 58, of Mountain Home, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at a Boise hospital.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at the Elks Lodge BPOE #2276 in Mountain Home. Officiating was Pastor Greg Jones of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church of Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel.

Kathryne was born Dec. 3, 1945, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was the daughter of Robert and Roselma Lentz. Kathryne was happily married to Benjamin "Bob" Robert Quick until he passed away on Dec. 22, 2003.

Kathryne was a member of the Elkettes of the BPOE #2276 and was an Elkette President from 1997-1998.

She was also a licensed beautician and worked out of her home.

"Kathryne loved gardening, her friends and family very much," her family noted. "Kathryne loved giving in every way, from decorating the Elks Lodge to helping people out in what ever they needed. She was also known for her "Christmas Wrapping" parties. These parties were to wrap the presents that she and her friends purchased for the many kids for Christmas."

Kathryne is survived by: her daughter, Cindy M. Sather and her husband, Dan, and her son, Dennis R. Doyle and his wife, Cindy, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
