Lorraine Rudge, 77
Lorraine A. Rudge, 77, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., formerly of Elmore County, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in Lake Havasu City.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtery Chapel in Mountain Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel.
Lorraine was born on Sept. 4, 1926, in Bessie, Okla.
Lorraine and her husband, Dwain, moved to Lake Havasu City, Ariz., from Idaho four years ago. They were married in Idaho in 1945 and had four children.
She spent most of her life in the Boise area working side by side with her husband in many different business, which included owning and running a ranch in Elmore County, a recreation business for children that consisted of many activities for children of all ages to enjoy, and a catering business that catered to businesses in the Boise area. The most recent business that she and Dwain had for 22 years was a Bowling Center in McCall.
"She was a very loving wife, great mother, outgoing person and loved by all," her family said, adding, "her family and friends will dearly miss Lorraine."
Lorraine is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Dwain Rudge of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; two daughters, Cheryl (Eleno) Luna of Salem, Ore., and Cindy (Ed) Nash of Boise; sister Elizabeth Slater of Boise; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her son, Larry Dwaine Rudge, and daughter, Brenda Dalaine Hagadorn, preceded her in death.
