Pat Watson, 71
Patricia (Pat) Watson, 71, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at the Elmore Medical Center Long Term Care Unit with her husband by her side.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Pat was born May 11, 1932, in Niles, Mich., the daughter of Joseph and Leona (Jones) Flint. She attended Niles Central High School.
Pat met John Watson on June 11, 1953, in Flint, Mich., and they became inseparable. March 7, 1960, they were married in Harvey, Ill. Pat accompanied John on his tours of duty while in the Air Force. She became a member of the NCO Wives Club and always extended her assistance to help military wives with domestic and other affairs.
Pat was a vivacious, bubbly, spirited lady with a perpetual smile and frequent laughter.
While in Japan, Pat studied art under Japanese artist Nakamura and became a professional artist. She taught art for 30 years and was a member of the Idaho Centennial Art Group.
Pat is survived by: her loving husband, John W. Watson; daughter Mia K. Watson-Good and her husband, Tom, one granddaughter; sisters Joan Williamson and Rosetta Hayes, both of Chicago, Ill., and Sonjia Barnes of Battle Creek, Mich., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marjorie and brother Floyd.
