Bob Quick, 77

Benjamin "Bob" Robert Quick, 77, longtime resident of Mountain Home, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at his resident.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel. After the services there will be a gathering at the Elks Lodge for all his friends.

Bob retired after 30 years in the Navy and was proud of all his service time to his country. He retired on May 1, 1975.

Bob belonged to the Elks Club B.P.O.E. #2276 and the American Legion Post #26.

Enjoying good friends, conversation and beer were Benjamin's delight.

Bob is survived by: his wife, Kathryne Quick; daughter Robin Vandeurzen; stepdaughter Cindy Sather and her husband, Dan; stepson Dennis R. Doyle and wife, Cindy, and 13 grandchildren.
