DeWayne Ramsey, 12
DeWayne Ramsey, 12, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at a Boise hospital.
Memorial services were held on Monday, Dec. 1, at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
DeWayne was born Dec. 31, 1990, in Mountain Home, the son of Edwin F. and Arlene J. (Moilanen) Ramsey, Jr.
He attended school at Liberty Elementary School on Mountain Home Air Force Base and Hacker Middle School in Mountain Home.
DeWayne enjoyed skateboarding, bicycling, propelled rocket models, fishing, camping, bringing home miscellaneous stray and wild animals to tend for and being with his family and friends.
DeWayne is survived by: his father, Edwin Ramsey, Jr., of Jerome; mother Arlene Wilson and his stepfather, Frank Wilson; sisters Amber Moilanen and Christell Markham, and brothers Terrance Ramsey and Michael Ramsey, all of Mountain Home; grandparents Edwin and Tressie Ramsey of Arkansas, grandmother Mary Jo Nickerson and "like a grandfather" James Vollnogel, both of Glenns Ferry, and ex-stepfather Timothy Markham.
