Ruth Bockelmann, 82

Ruth Irene Bockelmann, 82, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, in Boise.

Memorial services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Omaha, Neb., at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Ruth was born on April 17, 1921, in Butler County, Iowa, to John and Irene Philo. She married Albin Paul Bockelmann, in Glidden, Iowa, at her parent's home on Aug. 18, 1940.

Ruth retired from the Farm Credit Banks of Omaha, Neb., in 1980. Before moving to Mountain Home, Albin and Ruth lived in Bellevue, Wash. where they were members of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.

Ruth is survived by: her husband, Albin; son Dan and his wife, Linda, of Leavenworth, Wash., daughter Suzanne Van Zee and her husband, Lloyd, of Mountain Home, three granddaughters, one grandson, eight great-grandchildren; brothers Linn Philo of Edgerton, Wyo., John Philo of Wabasha, Minn., Ken Philo of Ephrata, Pa., and Roger Philo of Houston, Texas, and sister JoAnn Hall of Joshua, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
