Cora Swenson, 69

Cora E. Swenson, 69, of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at a Boise hospital.

Per her request no services will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Cora was born July 30, 1933, in Fairfax County, Va., the daughter of Emery and Giula Blalock.

Cora married Reynold (Swede) Swenson on July 1, 1949, in Winnemucca, Nev.

She was a homemaker, enjoyed deer and elk hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors. Cora was loved by her family and will be greatly missed by them, her family said.

She is survived by: her son, Danny Swenson and his fiance, Cheryl Betty, both of Mountain Home; daughter Patricia Sherfick of Boise; her brother, David Blalock; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynold, in 1997, her parents, a son and a sister.
