Wishing everyone a blessed and safe 2019
I would like to start by thanking our MHFD for once again giving the children of Mountain Home lifelong memories this Christmas season.
Santa’s mailbox in front of the newspaper office has seen a lot of traffic this year and the FD was out late into the night on Dec. 20 delivering replies from Santa Claus to the boys and girls of the community. I know Santa had to be very busy trying to get replies written to all of the children in time for the firemen to deliver as well, so a big thank you to him!
The memories events like these to create will last the children a lifetime and is in the true spirit of what I love about our community.
My son was so excited to see them he literally ran into our door trying to get outside!
From the bottom of both of our hearts thank you for what you do each and every year!
As we close out 2018 and look forward to all that 2019 has to offer I hope this editorial finds you and your family well.
I know I am so wrapped up in work, there are friends and loved ones I haven’t made the time to talk to near as much as I should this year. I guess we all have busy lives and that tends to happen. Please know that even if we don’t speak often or haven’t seen each other in awhile you are in my thoughts and I wish you peace and prosperity.
To all of our readers and partners thank you for all that you do and for supporting our business. I hope you have enjoyed the changes that this year has brought to the paper and you continue to come to us to keep up with our local events and news in 2019.
As always a big thank you goes out to our advertisers. Your support and your faith in our publication means a lot to us.
May everyone find something they love, success and happiness in the year to come.
