A fairly simple question.

If on Nov. 7 2012 the will of the citizens of the United States is that President Obama is to serve a 2nd term, then what? I'm not talking a narrow margin, less than 1 million votes, but by 6-8 million votes. And if the Democrats retain the Senate as well? Will we have a government by the people, or will the minority still try and force their will on the majority?

Hi CJW, home today, no work :-(. I should have limited myself to more specific issues, the budget or lack there of, taxes, and spending. I absolutely cringe at the thought of us getting involved in another foreign conflict. Just what we need, another unfunded war.

I know I will take heat for this, but if Israel decides to strike first, WE NEED TO STAY OUT OF IT!

The middle east is a no win situation.

CJW......I GOT ONE BETTER..... LETS LEAVE IT TO THEM AND COME HOME PERIOD. NO REASON TO BE THERE. BTWEEN now and then let the afghans destroy there own books.The idiotic politicians dont have there kids over there so they mourn no loss. They give lip service otherwise we would have been out of there.

I can support israel as and ally and therefore the saudie also......IRAN Will target the saudies also BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN HELPING US.GOING OUT THE GATE WOULD GET RID OF FRUSTRATION AND SHOW FORCE, THEY ALREADY KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO BUT FOR ME WOULD SOLVE NOTHING.....If we cant carry it destroy it, they dont want to buy it ship it,pack and go .(30 days) GONE LOCK STOCK AND BARRELL...MY OPINION...... WE PLAYED THIS SCENARIO AT THE SENIOR ACADEMY YEARS AGO,THAT IS WHY I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY WE EVEN BOTHERED AT THE SCALE WE DID........LATTER

Well CJW, we agree about the politicians. I view the people of Afghanistan much like the people of Vietnam during that mess. Smile to your face and stick a knife in your back at first chance. My considered opinion is that when they indicated that they wanted their King back, we should have said fine, packed our stuff and left.

That they are a backwards country I think is a given. That they are a proud and defiant people has been proven over and over.

The Israelis have proven over and over that they are big boys. We have armed them to the teeth and for the most part they haven't been afraid to use those weapons. Given time I think Iran's neighbors will be the ones to put enough pressure on Iran to get them to back off.

Just my opinion.

I'm saying there will fruad and intimindation by obamas supporters even if he loses.

No excuses it is in the libs heart and mind to cheat and be dishonest.

I just want someone in office that will actually follow that piece of paper signed in Philly over 200 years ago.

Roy, if we turn our backs on Israel in favor of the enemy---people never to be trusted---we are done. You had better be careful what you wish for.

This administration is Hitler all over again. If we turn our backs on a country that has ALWAYS supported us...we are doomed. I believe in my heart that is where we are headed.

More "change we can believe in." The man is the devil in a suit and speaks with a forked tongue...bet it is not the Bible next to his bed.

I don't think that's such a "fairly simple question" - not where politics is involved and the candidate with the most money and media behind him has a great advantage. And that would be Obama. I prey that he doesn't get re-elected. I would hope that none of us who believe that Obama and his Obamabots will destroy this country if given another four years will sit back and accept it.

I think everyone should have to have a photo ID when they vote. It only makes sense to me... AND if I had to show proof I was a resident of Idaho to get a fishing license, I should have to show a photo ID when I vote and my name should be in that book they have showing I am a registered voter..

I wonder that myself, Mr. Pratt. I often believe that those who are most vocal in decrying another's political beliefs are those who really never listen to other view points. They think the majority of America agrees with THEM because the majority of their own sample of acquaintances agrees with them.

Me? I think Obama has been disastrous for this country, but only because he's been the Republican party's biggest blessing. They've gotten most of everything they've wanted under him. And the Democrats hardly put up a fight because they think he on their side. Republicans just can't lose this way! Another four years of Obama is just what the Republicans should be praying for!

CELLARHUK........IT IS AND INTERESTING POINT OF VIEW ....one I remember someone else advocating.There is a lot of merit to what you say.I said it before on some issue there needs to be a fight to get to the real solution,and on that the PRESIDENT has been WEAK.For me our law makers have abdegated there responsibilty's to facilitate there re elction .....that is on both sides of the aisle.THE RESULTS is you and I pay for there inaction.THEY ARE SO FAR REMOVED FROM OUR REALITY THEY ARE NOT EQUIPED TO GOVERN.....
