Sharing a special moment
I'm sharing this with all of new friends and family in Mtn. Home. These are from the military funeral for my Mother that was held 10/28/2011. I will forever be grateful for the two gentlemen from the Navy who volunteered to honor my Mother.
This is the Committal Shelter where services are held for our Veterans. I finally felt at peace. The table is used for cremations.
I have no words to describe the emotion I felt when I read the plaque. To the members of Post 26, my undying gratitude.
The picture on the top is my son, me, my brother Fred, and my Grandson Christian. My daughter-in-law took the picture. The next picture my grandson took.
This is all hallowed ground.
God bless our veterans living and dead.
