And the count down has begun

It has been 1 month since the "Super Committee" was formed and what has happened? Absolutely NOTHING!

Where are our legislators whose JOB it is to tend to the PEOPLES BUSINESS? Why on vacation of course! And what are they doing while on VACATION? Figuring out how to build up their campaign war chest. This applies to the LEFT and the RIGHT! If they were doing such a great job of tending to the PEOPLES BUSINESS, they wouldn't need a large war chest. The PEOPLE would vote for them without T.V. and radio commercials or print ads. NONE of the malarkey that takes away from their time doing their JOB!!!

And where are the PEOPLE when all this is going on? Running around making useless statements such as "Just wait till 2012". WE CAN NOT WAIT!!!! To do so makes us no better than Nero. If you don't like your representative, e-mail them. It costs nothing. Learn how to voice your opinions in such a manner that you will not be ignored as a crack pot. Use an e-mail address that looks adult, such as first name.last name@ free email service.net or com. Any one who is reading this blog understands what I am talking about. In my case, my message is short and to the point. STOP THE MALARKEY AND GET BACK TO DOING THE JOB YOU ARE BEING PAID TO DO! TEND TO THE PEOPLES BUSINESS NOW!

The sad state of affairs we now find ourselves in lies solely at OUR feet. We have either voted these bozo's into office, or didn't work harder to elect someone who supports our views, or voted our own name at election time rather than filling in the space for write-in candidate with NONE OF THE ABOVE. Believe it or not, if 10% of the vote is for NONE OF THE ABOVE, not only is it reported on, but is counted the same as Joe Smith. A single vote with your name counts for only 1 vote. 10% of the total vote for NONE OF THE ABOVE makes a real statement. One that can not be ignored.

I for one will have a stamp made to take with me into the voting booth that I will use to fill in the write in candidates name with NONE OF THE ABOVE.
