Why Trust The Right?

Lamont & I chatted awhile last night after I got back from Boise, and he said I could use his name here, so I will.  He suggested I write something about why we should trust the right.

Now, personally, I do not trust ANYBODY back there on EITHER side--------which is why I've been on this year-long tirade to vote them ALL out, without a single solitary exception.

As all Democrats are not liberals.........so goes it that not all Republicans are conservatives.  We have "RINO's" and they have "Blue Dogs", so you're not always sure WHO you're dealing with from one day to the next.

So there are TWO WAYS I can voice my opinion on why the right is the more trustworthy of the two.

FIRST...........our platform.  We are by and large, CONSTITUTIONALISTS.   Most of us do NOT share the left's compassion for aiding every "Tom, Dick & Harry" beyond our shores, we ARE "selfish" enough to put America FIRST------------after all, we've spilled a lot of blood for it over nearly 2 & a half centuries......and we want to keep it.

The left calls this arrogance.  So be it.  If people in other countries are jealous and envious of the freedoms we enjoy here......let 'em revolt and kick THEIR tyrants out like WE did.

Our platform has always championed a strong defense ("Peace Through Strength"), as Reagan called it........while carrying on Teddy Roosevelt's tradition of walking softly but carrying that "big stick"...............the one that Obama today wants to REDUCE to dangerously low levels.

This is incidentally, the main reason that most of our military folks have always voted GOP.  With the coming of Democratic presidents, beginning with Jimmy Carter........our military has always been short-changed in lieu of social programs.

If you talk to most Americans on the street today, you'll find that MOST working people are AGAINST foreign aid, supporting and catering to illegals, and all of these handouts to the "career bums".............but only one side seems to want to stop it.

NO right wing faction wants to put their opponents "OFF THE AIR", thus creating only ONE voice, and hampering out First Amendment rights of free speech.

EVERY......and I mean EVERY attack on our SECOND Amendment, on any House and Senate floor, has come from a Democrat. The LEFT is willing to tamper with the freedoms of our Constitution. The "right" is NOT.

The right side (our "platform" anyway), doesn't have a problem with migrant workers, as long as they come here LEGALLY.  I don't see anything wrong with that.

The right side thinks voting should be strictly "one per customer".......and that means "legally-REGISTERED" customer.  Something as important as a national election SHOULD warrant SOME degree of honesty, shouldn't it?

If you need ID to cash your welfare check, you should darned sure need one to VOTE.

The right doesn't believe in "weekend" Executive Orders to avoid the Congress.  In fact, the right doesn't believe in "avoiding Congress" PERIOD.

So.........do ALL right-wingers believe in these things, item-for-item?  Of course not........we're ALL human beings, and we have our slime-balls just like y'all have YOURS.................."yes MsMarylin--------even the LEFT has liars and thieves among all those "cute little people" you adore-----------I know it's hard to believe but it's true.

The right, for the most part, does not "blame the last guy" as some reason that they can't do a job TODAY.  There have been over 15 budgets passed from the House to the Senate, and Reid has shot every one of them down because of the CUTS that need to be made.

The Dems are solidly convinced they can tax & spend us out of trouble.  Anyone who has ever been "head of any household" KNOWS that you cannot spend more than you take in.........and stay afloat.  It doesn't work.

The right-side believes in the American way of life.  We absolute HATE and REJECT ANY form of socialism or communism.                

All these guys didn't sacrifice for 235+ years, just so we could come along later and "give it all away"...........be ordered around by a "nanny government", be told what we can do.....and not do...........and there is NOTHING in our Constitution about MANDATES.

The left is willing to do ANYTHING to stay in power.  Democrats take it very personal when their "patriotism" is questioned, (as they SHOULD).....but they support elected officials who would allow and encourage millions of illegals to vote in a country where there has been an astronomical price paid for that cherished right, that not many countries have.

The right believes in using OUR resources, rather than be held "hostage" to other countries.  We REJECT trying to do things as EUROPE does...and use the systems the EUROPEANS do................because they DON'T WORK.  That system over there is starting to IMPLODE, yet we've still got bureaucrats HERE that want to FOLLOW it.

The right doesn't believe that the government knows how to run YOUR life better than YOU do, and the CITIZENS should get to decide what "light bulb" they want to use, or what kind of car they want to drive................hey man........we're the ones PAYING for it!

Next thing you know, they'll be trying to limit us on how often we can us the toilet, so as to cut down on porcelain wear and eliminate beans so as to cut down on "carbon emissions."

The right favors SMALL- government....not "ALL-government."

But you know what?---------------------

I told Lamont I'd write this today.............however..........most of you on the "left" will pretty much dis-regard this as just another "conservative" opinion as to "why we should trust the right."

And that's fair enough.

Now....I said there are TWO ways I could state my case here. The "second" way is from YOUR OWN SIDE OF AISLE....as to "why you should trust the right".............

Bill Clinton..............BILL CLINTON..............BILL CLINTON.............

We heard your chants until we were sick of hearing them.

He left office with a 230 billion dollar SURPLUS.

A SURPLUS!!!!!!  Oh my God YES....wasn't he WONDERFUL??  He had time to do all THAT, and Monica too!

Yes he did...............

.........but he also had a Republican House & Senate for the last 6 of his 8 years.

You remember civics 101?......."CONGRESS"?........where legislation is made and bills are passed?  The guys who actually DO the work and get it to the President to SIGN into law?

George Bush hadn't taken the reins from Bill very long when we had a WAR dropped in our laps right there  in New York.  Wars COST.

But eight years later, what Obama "inherited", he has more than DOUBLED in just THREE................stay with me now.............

George Bush's final two years were under a Democrat Congress.

Obama's first TWO years were under COMPLETE Democratic control----and three branches.

Today, they STILL control 2/3's of it.

"Slick Willie"-------with 6 years of GOP under him.........left the White House with 230 Billion to the GOOD.

Obama and his Dems have us 16 TRILLION in the HOLE.

The Dems have had congressional control for 4 or the last 5, and still have "veto power" in the White House.

Do the math, before you decide who you should trust...........and why.

Your own Bill Clinton could tell you first hand, what can be accomplished when you have COMPETENT people working with you.

No Wing Commander ever passed an "ORI" by himself.  It's never been done.

RE-ELECT NOBODY in November.

NOBODY!
